The United States Treasury has said American nationals are now banned from doing business with the Hamas-led Palestinian Authority.

The US and European Union cut off aid to the Palestinian Authority after Hamas took power last March.
The Palestinian Prime Minister Ismail Haniya said today the cut in aid would not weaken the Palestinian people's resolve.
