Profits at Dublin Airport Authority increased by 63% last year to €50 million.
The organisation is currently responsible for the airports in the capital and those in Cork and Shannon.
The Authority has warned it needs to recoup more money from customers if it is to deliver the planned €1.2 billion expansion of Dublin Airport.
