Gardaí are investigating a road traffic collision between a truck and a car at 11.30am yesterday at Cullenagh, Ennistymon, Co Clare.
The male driver and female passenger of the car were removed to Ennis Hospital, where the woman died early this morning.
And a 35-year-old man was killed in a road accident in Co Cork.
The man, who was originally from Nigeria, died when the car he was driving entered the River Lee at the Lower Glanmire Road yesterday.
