Talks on Belfast post strike resume

Talks to try to resolve the post office strike in Belfast resumed in London today.

Officials from the Communication Workers Union are meeting management from the Royal Mail. The parties had been due to meet yesterday but those talks were postponed.

Workers at Tomb Street in Belfast began an unofficial strike at the end of last month, severely disrupting postal deliveries.

The workers had claimed harassment by Royal Mail managers, an allegation that was denied.
