Two adults and one child were killed when a school bus was involved in a collision with a truck in Germany this morning.
The accident happened during morning rush hour in the town of Coppenbruegge in the state of Lower Saxony.
A police spokesman said three people were in a critical condition after the crash, in which another 11 people were slightly injured.
The police spokesman said road conditions were slippery.
Describing the circumstances of the accident, he said: 'A truck travelling in the opposite direction slid into oncoming traffic and sliced the bus open from the driver's seat to the back.'
