Israel has said it would release $55m in tax revenues it owes to the Palestinian Authority but said future transfers were unlikely once the militant group, Hamas forms a new government.
The Israeli government froze the money it collected in January in the occupied West Bank on behalf of the Palestinian Authority because of Hamas's victory in last months parliamentary elections.
The US has urged Israel to keep handing over the monthly payments at least until Hamas enters government.
