A 26-year-old cyclist who was killed in a road accident in Dublin city centre last Saturday has been named.
She was Katarzyna Stanczyk, a Polish national with an address at Hampton Green, Navan Road in Dublin.
Ms Stanczyk was killed when the bicycle she was riding and a truck collided at the junction of North King Street and Blackhall Place at midday on 14 January.
The truck driver was treated for shock and minor injuries.
Meanwhile, the names of the two women who died in a road collision at Fardrum, Athlone last evening have been released.
Siobhan Drea (20), Ballykilmurray, Tullamore, and her friend Mikhaela Ardelama, Arden Road, Tullamore, were both killed in the three-car accident.
Both are survived by family and friends, and each had a young child.
It is believed they were returning from a trip to Athlone IT to obtain information on educational courses they were about to undertake.
Ms Ardelama was a member of a large Polish community in Tullamore.
A number of others involved in the pile-up were removed to hospital but none is believed to have life-threatening injuries.
