Iran's Economics Minister has warned world oil prices could rise if sanctions are imposed on Tehran over its disputed nuclear programme.
Davoud Danesh-Jafari said any possible sanctions from the United Nations would disturb Iran's political and economic situation and raise oil prices beyond levels expected by the west.
Iran defied warnings from the international community when it resumed nuclear research activity earlier this week.
