A trade mission which the Taoiseach, Bertie Ahern, will lead to India later this month will include representatives from a number of major companies in Northern Ireland.
The University of Ulster and Queen's University will also participate in the six-day visit, which is designed to help Irish companies get established in the Indian market.
Other firms travelling include the engineering company, FG Wilson and Randox Laboratories, as well as the Invest Northern Ireland job creating agency and the Northern Ireland Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Most of the companies will be from south of the border.
The delegation will be breaking new ground in north-south business relations.
