A spokesperson for the Dublin Airport Authority said some passengers experienced delays at Dublin Airport this morning due to a break down in the computer systems of some airlines.
There were no reports of passengers missing flights due to the delays.
The queues to go through security checks at the airport during peak travel time this morning were clocked at 25 minutes by the Dublin Airport Authority.
Today is expected to be the busiest day after Christmas at the airport with more than 71,000 people travelling.
