In central Vietnam nine people have been killed by landslides, bringing the death toll in the region up to 41.
Officials in the Khanh Hoa province said that only six out of the nine bodies have been recovered and rescue workers are searching for the others.
The landslides were trigged by prolonged rain and local weather forecasters have urged all travellers to take extra caution when travelling through the region.
Rains began in late November and have inundated more than 74,000 acres of newly-planted rice crops and triggered flash floods.
