Budget airline bmibaby is to start a new route from Knock to Durham Tees Valley Airport in northeast England from March next year.
The airline will also increase its flights on its existing Manchester and Birmingham routes to twice daily.
The increased flights to Manchester and Birmingham will be in operation for summer 2006.
'The additional flight services which bmibaby and our team have put in place, is another step towards achieving our goal of providing a comprehensive range of flights into the UK,' said Ireland West Airport Knock managing director Liam Scollan.
