President Mary McAleese is back at Áras an Uachtaráin after she was discharged from hospital this morning.
A spokesperson said she was in good form.
Mrs McAleese was admitted to the Mater Private Hospital in Dublin yesterday after feeling unwell.
She was given intravenous antibiotics on her arrival at hospital. Her engagements for the next few days were postponed.
