Three killed in Karachi car bombing

Police in Pakistan say three people were killed when a car bomb exploded outside a fast food outlet in Karachi this morning.

They said 15 people were also wounded in the explosion outside a Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant.

Provincial authorities said they suspected Islamist militants and cast doubt on a claim of responsibility by a separatist group from nearby Baluchistan province which said it had targeted an office of a state-run Pakistani oil company.
