A cargo ship with 3,800 tonnes of bitumen was reported to be adrift in the Irish Sea off the Welsh coast this morning in force seven westerly gales with 11 crew on board.
Shortly after 4am this morning, the Dutch vessel, called the Stella Rigel, was around 40km northwest of The Smalls - a rocky outcrop on the Welsh coast north of Milford Haven.
The Stella Rigel reported that she had no power and was adrift.
The rescue was being co-ordinated by Milford Haven Coastguard.
