The remains of Liam Lawlor, the former Fianna Fáil TD who died in a car accident in Moscow last weekend, arrived back in Dublin today.

A spokesperson for Dublin Airport Authority confirmed that his body arrived at Dublin Airport in the early hours of this morning and was taken to the family home.

The funeral Mass will take place at midday tomorrow at St Patrick's Church in Esker near Lucan, Co Dublin. The burial will follow at Esker Cemetery.

Mr Lawlor, 61, was killed in a car crash in the Russian capital in the early hours of Saturday morning. He had been on a business trip.

The driver of the car was also killed and a Ukrainian woman, who was a back seat passenger, was injured.
