A group of An Post pensioners held a protest in Castlerea, Co Roscommon, last night claiming they are not receiving their full pension entitlements under the Sustaining Progress programme.
They were protesting outside a regional An Post management meeting which was held in the town.
They claim that, while they received an increase of 5% in their pensions last January, this was not the full amount due.
Under the Sustaining Progress deal, An Post was due to pay workers a staged 8.5% pay rise, beginning in November 2003, with a further 1.5% increase due next month.
