Paris - Protest follows fire tragedy

Over 300 people have taken part in a protest in the French capital, Paris, calling for better housing conditions for immigrants.

The demonstration follows yesterday's fire at a run-down apartment block in which 17 people, including 14 children, were killed.

The building housed 130 immigrants, mainly from Africa, and was paid for by a charity.

Officials are still trying to establish the cause of the blaze, and have not ruled out arson.
