The threat of disruption to DART services in Dublin has been lifted after drivers decided not to take any industrial action in a row over pay.
At their meeting last night SIPTU members decided to engage in the training and testing of new eight carriage trains.
The drivers had earlier rejected a Labour Court recommendation that they drive the new trains for no extra pay.
However, last night they decided against taking any further unofficial or official action.
