Leas Cross, the north Dublin nursing home at the centre of a Prime Time investigation highlighting alleged sub-standard care, has closed.
The final 15 patients were transferred from Leas Cross in Swords over the weekend to other nursing home facilities.
Last month, the Health Service Executive decided to withdraw all public patients placed in Leas Cross because it claimed the home was in breach of regulations.
The closure follows an announcement earlier this month by the home's managing director that, due to the actions of the HSE, it was no longer possible to continue to provide a nursing home service.
