A Kurdish rebel group has claimed it carried out a bombing on a holiday resort in Turkey in which 20 people were wounded.
In a statement to a news agency, the Kurdistan Liberation Hawks or TAK, a militant wing of banned political party the Kurdistan Workers Party, said it had planted the bomb and threatened to carry out further attacks on tourist areas.
The explosion occurred in Cesme, a popular resort area on the Aegean Sea.
Investigators believe the blast was caused by either a fragmentation bomb or a pipe bomb that was placed in a waste bin outside a bank.
The TAK have stepped up their 20-year-old violent campaign for Kurdish independence since last year when a truce was called off.
