A spokesman for cement group CRH has said the company has 'no involvement or awareness at all' of an allegation that it asked a Polish businessman to pay a bribe.
CRH bought a 40% stake in Holding Cement Polski from Larchmount.
Businessman Marek Dochnal, who made the allegation, was the main shareholder in Larchmount.
He is currently in prison on separate bribery charges. He alleged in a parliamentary inquiry he paid a bribe on behalf of CRH.
