An Iraqi judge has questioned Saddam Hussein about the killings of dozens of men from a Shi'ite village where he survived an assassination attempt in 1982.

The Iraqi Special Tribunal has also released film of the former dictator and other members of his administration being questioned.

There has been speculation that the killings at Dujail may be used as a test case against the former Iraqi leader, who is due to face trial on charges of crimes against humanity

The Iraqi Special Tribunal has said a timetable for his trial has not yet been set.
