The United Nations is to send an inspection team to Lebanon to investigate claims that Syrian intelligence officers are still operating in the country.
The move follows complaints by the United States about alleged Syrian interference and intimidation in Lebanon.
Syria withdrew its troops from the country in April under international pressure.
However, last month a UN report said that it was impossible to determine whether or not Syrian agents were still in the country.
