At least 38 people were killed and more than 70 people were wounded when a landmine exploded under a bus in the Himalayan kingdom of Nepal.
The blast occurred near the village of Badarmude, 180 kilometres southwest of Kathmandu.
Sixteen seriously injured people were transferred to hospitals in the capital for treatment.
