Six people have been arrested in connection with the killing of 29-year-old Joseph Rafferty near Clonsilla in Dublin last month.

Mr Rafferty was shot dead as he came out of his apartment at Ongar. He was getting into his van when he was approached by a gunman and shot twice at close range.

Five men and a woman were arrested in various parts of Dublin this morning.

They are being held in several different garda stations around the city.

Two are being held in Clondalkin, one in Lucan, one in Ronanstown, one in Finglas and one in Ballyfermot.
