At least 24 people have been killed in separate attacks on Iraqi security forces in the capital, Baghdad.
A suicide car bomber blew himself up at an Iraqi army recruitment centre in western Baghdad, killing at least 13 people and injuring more than 15 others.
In a separate attack in the capital, gunmen shot dead 10 policemen and set police cars ablaze.
Another police convoy was attacked at around the same time, but there is no information on casualties.
And a car bomb was detonated apparently targeting the deputy interior minister. He escaped injury but one of his bodyguards was killed and six others were wounded.
The latest attacks come as part of a surge of insurgent violence in Baghdad in the past week that has killed dozens of people.
