The three-year-old boy who was fatally injured in yesterday's traffic collision in Rosses Point, Sligo, has been named as Evan Tracey of Rathedmond Estate, Sligo.
He was knocked down by a car at around 5pm and pronounced dead on arrival at Sligo General Hospital.
A garda investigation has begun into the death.
