The United Nations has warned there could be nearly 90 million new cases of people infected by HIV/Aids in Africa in the next 20 years unless more is done to combat the epidemic.
That figure would represent 10% of the African population.
In a new report, the UN Aids Agency says this could happen as a result of failing to increase prevention efforts and limiting access to treatment.
Today, about 25 million people have HIV in Africa.
The world body has called for a donation of $200 billion to help stem the spread of the disease.
