Five people died today when their small plane crashed during a heavy snow-storm after take-off from Bologna airport in northern Italy.
The Cessna plane caught fire after plunging to the ground, shortly after taking off from the airport. The pilot, co-pilot and all three passengers were killed instantly.
The airport was closed following the incident which happened only a short distance from the runway.
