An explosion has killed two people and injured six in Mogadishu during a visit by African Union experts preparing a peace mission to Somalia.
One victim was killed at the scene, while the second died later in hospital.
The blast was caused by an explosive device attached to a motorbike parked by the side of a street near the former Somali foreign ministry building.
A senior Somali official said the attack had been aimed at the visiting AU delegation, although witnesses said it occurred at least 2km from the hotel where the delegation had been staying.
There has been a string of assassinations of former soldiers and policemen in the city in recent months by unidentified gunmen.
BBC producer Kate Peyton was shot dead in a still unsolved attack near the scene of today's explosion, earlier this month.
