A serious row has broken out among unions at the ESB, with one union seeking the removal of officers of the ESB Group of Unions.
The Technical, Engineering and Electrical Union has written to the Chairman of the Group of Unions, Colbert Byrne, Vice Chairman Sean Treacy, and Secretary Paddy Reilly, expressing dissatisfaction with what it calls the manner in which they have carried out their duties of office.
The complaints formally advise the three officers that the TEEU is requesting a meeting of the Group of Unions to pass a motion to remove them from office.
