Indonesia's military has confirmed it shot dead four separatist rebels in tsunami-ravaged Aceh province while government and rebel leaders were engaged in ceasefire talks in Finland.
The talks are aimed at finding a resolution to the three-decade conflict in Aceh.
No formal ceasefire deal was reached but Finland's ex-President Martti Ahtisaari said he had invited both parties to meet again in the capital Helsinki.
Mr Ahtisaari said they focused on aid efforts after the tsunami and looked at the possibility of moving towards a political settlement of the conflict.
