Officials from Iarnród Éireann together with the Dublin Transportation Office have been meeting with Meath and Fingal County Councils to discuss the proposed reconstruction of the railway line between Dublin and Meath.
The Clonsilla-Dunboyne line closed approximately 40 years ago but it is hoped that it can be reopened in the near future.
Today's meeting was to discuss the draft plan drawn up by Iarnród Éireann.
It is expected the finalised plan will be available for county councillors early next month.
