Five people were reported killed and ten wounded when Palestinian militants attacked near an army base this evening in the central Gaza Strip.
Israel Radio said the dead included two suicide bombers.
The al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, an armed wing of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas's Fatah movement, said it carried out the attack.
Witnesses said an Israeli helicopter fired two missiles at a central Gaza refugee camp, shortly after the suicide attack.
There was no immediate report of casualties.
