Ukraine's Parliament has approved a series of laws and constitutional changes aimed at resolving the crisis over last month's disputed election.

The parliament backed changes to the electoral law to prevent a recurrence of fraud which marred last month's presidential run-off vote which gave victory to Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovich.

It also approved changes to the Constitution, reducing powers of the president and increasing those of parliament.

The country's Supreme Court has ordered that a re-run of the election takes place on 26 December.
