Around 200 students have staged a demonstration outside the Dáil.
The demonstration followed a march through the city centre to protest at what they said was an attempt to privatise Irish education.
The students said they would fight any attempt to reintroduce third-level fees.
Protestors called for an investment in education while the Government 'coffers were overflowing’ to make up for past neglect.
