Heavy rainfall over the past 24 hours has caused flooding in low-lying areas in the west.
Driving conditions in counties Galway, Mayo and Clare are said to be poor due to flash flooding.
In Co Galway, the road between Kilconnell and Aughrim is flooded by up to six inches in places.
The road is still passable but motorists are being advised to drive with care.
