An undercover Israeli unit in the West Bank has shot dead four Palestinians travelling in a car near Jenin.
The Israeli military says the dead men were wanted militants who had opened fire when the Israelis tried to arrest them.
It is believed senior members of the Palestinian Liberation Organisation were among the dead.
