Liam Lawlor - Mahon Tribunal evidence

The former TD Liam Lawlor has told the Mahon Tribunal that he had no consultancy role regarding land at Carrickmines in south Dublin.

In exchanges with counsel for the tribunal, Mr Lawlor insisted that he had no involvement in any material way with the Carrickmines land.

Mr Lawlor also told the tribunal at Dublin Castle that he had not acted in a consultative capacity to companies involved in Carrickmines.

He told the tribunal that, as far as he was concerned, Carrickmines was farmland and still is.

The tribunal is examining ownership of the Jackson Way land in Carrickmines and a number of other land deals.
