The Church of Ireland Primate, Archbishop Robin Eames, has called on politicians in Northern Ireland to continue to try to work to build a peaceful society.
Speaking at the diocesan synod in Armagh, he said the greatest frustration stemmed from the question of paramilitary activity and the threat of it.
He also condemned the recent rise in racially-motivated attacks in the Co Armagh area.
