New legal challenges are being made to the military commission set up by the US government at Guantanamo Bay in Cuba to try detainees being held there.

In two days of preliminary hearings this week, nearly 30 motions have been filed by defence lawyers.

These motions question the legality of the entire process, as well as pleading the innocence of the detainees.
