In Bangladesh 12 people have been killed and 100 injured after a series of explosions ripped through an opposition party rally in the capital Dhaka.
After the attacks serious rioting broke out in the city.
The blasts occurred after the leader of the Awami League party, Sheikh Hasina Wajed, delivered a speech outside the party's headquarters.
Sheikh Hasina Wajed was reported to have been driven away with slight leg injuries.
There has been a spate of bomb blasts in Bangladesh in recent months including one earlier this month which killed an Awami League leader in the northeastern town of Sylhet.
At least 20 people have died in bomb blasts and sporadic political violence this year.
