The Rwandan government has warned that it could intervene in the event of a new genocide of ethnic Tutsis after Friday's massacre of over 150 Congolese Tutsis at a refugee camp in Burundi.
The Rwandan Foreign Minister, Charles Murigande, blamed the killings on inaction by the international community, which he said is responsible for not disarming Hutu militias after the genocide in Rwanda in 1994.
Mr Murigande said that Rwanda would defend itself if Hutu militias crossed into the country to carry out attacks.
