A big clean-up operation is under way in the English county of Cornwall where a flood swamped part of the north coast destroying homes and washing cars into the sea.
The damage was centred on the tourist village of Boscastle, where heavy storms brought two inches of rain in two hours and a river burst its banks.
During the flood, helicopters airlifted scores of people left stranded on rooftops and in cars to safety.
