Police in Northern Ireland have confirmed that the large security operation, which accompanies the annual Drumcree parade, is to be scaled down.
Tomorrow, there will be significantly fewer barriers and less barbed wire than previously used in restricting Orange Order marchers in Portadown, Co Armagh.
Police said they took the decision after significant engagement with local groups and individuals.
A police spokesman said the move was in response to last year's generally peaceful marching season and was part of an ongoing de-escalation over the past three years.
