US forces have attacked what they said was a safehouse belonging to Abu Musab al-Zarqawi in Fallujah, killing at least six people.
In the fourth strike targeting suspected Zarqawi hideouts in Fallujah in the past two weeks, a US plane fired a missile overnight that witnesses said reduced the building to rubble.
Hospital sources said 15 people were injured in the strike, some of them women and children.
Three killed in Baghdad blast
Earlier, a senior official of Iraq's Ministry of Finance and two of his staff were killed in an explosion in Baghdad.
The three were travelling in a car that is believed to have been the target of a roadside bombing.
And in northern Iraq, a soldier from the US-led forces has been killed and two have been wounded in a bomb attack on their convoy near Mosul.
