The former US President, Bill Clinton, has begun a promotional tour for his autobiography, My Life.
The book contains his account of what he calls his worst day in office when he told his wife Hillary that he was having an affair.
In his first televised interview since the book was published, he described how he confessed to her two days before he was to testify before a grand jury in August 1998.
In another section, Mr Clinton says he warned George W Bush that the greatest threat to America was Osama bin Laden and al-Qaeda.
He wrote that Mr Bush appeared to be uninterested.
