The former US President Bill Clinton has revealed he was forced to sleep on the couch for two months after admitting to having an affair with Monica Lewinsky.
In remarks made in his autobiography, which will be published in America next week, he described his wife, Hillary, as looking like she had been punched in the mouth when he confessed to adultery.
In another section, Mr Clinton says he warned George W Bush that the greatest threat to America was Osama bin Laden and al-Qaeda.
He wrote that Mr Bush appeared to be uninterested.
