The Taoiseach has dismissed suggestions of a rift between Fianna Fáil and the Progressive Democrats in the wake of his party's poor performance in the European and Local Elections.
Bertie Ahern said relations between the two parties were absolutely excellent.
He was speaking at the announcement of a development plan for the Dublin Institute of Technology this afternoon.
A new campus for the DIT will be located on the 70-acre Grangegorman site in the north inner city, and is expected to be completed by 2014 at a cost of €750 million.
